I have used flowizard to develop meshes for complex geometry that is needed quickly.

Is there a command to extract mesh skewness information prior to exporting a fluent case 6 file?

Hi Graham,

It is possible to measure the skewness in FloWizard. There is a text command for this
mesh.getQualityRange

We need to enter this command in the text user interface. This interface is kept hidden by default. But at the bottom of the display window, you can use your mouse to drag the panel upwards and you will be able to see a text window. Here you can enter this command and it will return equisize skewness.

To know the mesh quality you may type in the following command in the command line located in the right bottom corner of FloWizard window. It prints the range of the mesh quality (eqiangle skewness)

mesh.getQualityRange()
