When does Flowizard "grab" a license? Is it when a session is started, when the mesh is created, or when the solution is running?

Flowizard will let you launch the program without any license and complain about the license (after displaying the graphical interface) if it cannot find one or find an expired one. Are you experiencing any specific problem with it at this moment?

That is correct. At startup is when it checks out a "flowizard" license. It will also check out a "fluent" license while it is calculating.
